The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's bout.
Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Difference
As both boxers met for the usual confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly happening.
